We replaced 11 AI subscriptions with one platform. Is the "all-in-one" era finally here?

by

My co-founder and I were paying for ChatGPT, Midjourney, Zapier, a vector database, a RAG tool, a separate agent framework, and five other AI services. Monthly total: $380+. For a two-person team from India, that's painful.

So we built Definable - one platform with 50+ AI models, photo and video studios, 900+ app integrations, an open-source agent SDK, and a coding CLI. We cancelled everything else.

But here's the real question I want to ask this community:

Do you actually want one platform that does everything? Or do you prefer best-in-class tools stitched together?

The argument for stitching: each tool is optimized for its job. The argument for consolidation: context switching kills productivity, and integration tax is real.

We bet hard on consolidation. But I know many of you are power users who love your specialized stacks.

Genuinely curious:

  1. How many AI tools/subscriptions are you currently paying for?

  2. Would you consolidate if one platform was good enough across the board?

  3. What's the one tool you'd never give up no matter what?

No wrong answers. We're learning as much as we're building.
