What matters more for AI success: Accuracy or Trust?
Hi PH community 👋
I’m a Product Operations Manager at a startup that’s about to take our AI product to public launch. We’ve spent months building features, tightening up UX, and obsessing over prompt quality. Now we’re in the final stretch!
Here’s the thing I keep circling back to: We’ve focused so much on capabilities like speed, accuracy, and personalization. However, I’m wondering if the real make-or-break factor isn’t what the AI can do, but how it makes people feel when they use it.
In other words, if AI gives you the right answer but leaves you feeling distrustful, does it still count as success? Or, if it builds trust and delight but sometimes stumbles, can it still win in the long run?
Curious how you’ve seen this play out! When push comes to shove, what really wins--capability or trust?
Anyway, I’m excited to be here, learn from your experiences, and grow with this community.

both. both is good.
JK — I think the relationship is the most important aspect, and relationships are built on trust. But trust is built by being reliable. So I think they can only stay separate up to a point.
