Where do you find a partner for a $0 portfolio project?

by

Standard founder platforms are useless if you aren't building a unicorn.

Try finding a partner for a simple weekend project, and you immediately hit a wall of equity talks, pitch decks, and 5-year commitments. What if you just want to build for experience? What if you need a dev to help build a portfolio piece, and neither of you cares about MRR right now?

There was no low-stakes sandbox for this. So, I built one.

StartupHub [https://www.producthunt.com/products/startuphub-2?launch=startuphub-2] is a zero-pressure matchmaking platform specifically for students and beginners.

  • No VC talk.

  • No monetization pressure.

  • Just finding peers to ship experiments, learn new skills, and put "proof of work" on your resume.

How did you guys navigate this exact problem when you were first starting out and just trying to learn?
