Why Do Product Hunt Discussions Seem Fake Lately, and Why Has Engagement Dropped?

I came back here after a long time and a lot has changed, mainly the drop of engagement in discussions. Is it just me or does anybody feel the same way? Also I observed changes in the layout and featuring of the products, are there any more major changes recently?

Yes, I've noticed the same thing lately, unfortunately. Plus, there are a lot of 'smart people' now who generate responses with AI in the style of Captain Obvious.

The last couple of days on the top get discussions from people I have never seen before (and they appeared from nowhere – it felt like getting 40 or 60 upvotes in the blink of an eye), they are unmanaged too. Also, the platform is changing the UI. But I personally like this part.
