Why I built Color CEO: Saving my sanity (and my browser tabs) 🎨

I’m the solo developer behind Color CEO, and I’ll be honest this project started out of sheer frustration. As a developer, my workflow usually involved having five different tabs open just to handle a single UI component: one for a palette generator, one for a Tailwind config, another for checking WCAG contrast, and maybe a fourth for ripping colors from a reference image.

I got tired of the "tab juggling" and decided to build one unified, free toolkit that does it all in one place without the need for an account or any server-side uploads.

You can generate a palette and copy the exact configuration code for your tailwind.config.js instantly.

Privacy-First (Client-Side Only):

I’m obsessed with privacy. Whether you’re recoloring an SVG or extracting colors from a photo, nothing ever touches our server. It all happens locally in your browser.

Real-World Inspiration:

I built a Live Camera Color Picker so you can point your phone at anything on your desk and grab the hex code in real time.

Smart SVG Recolor:

Unlike basic filters, this tool preserves the original luminance, so your shadows and highlights actually stay intact while

you swap colors.
