Why I built GoPilot — planning your day in two dimensions: time & place

by

After trying almost every calendar and trip planner out there, I realized they all miss something obvious.

Most tools help you plan by time (“You’re free at 2pm”) or by location (“You’ll be in New York”).

But real life happens in both.

If I have lunch uptown at 1:30 and a meeting downtown at 2, my calendar still says I’m available.

Technically yes — but in reality, not a chance.

That gap between time and place is where GoPilot started.

I wanted a planner that understands travel time, overlaps, and the actual rhythm of moving through your day — not just boxes on a timeline.

GoPilot connects your calendar and maps, and helps you see your day as a journey instead of a checklist.

It’s still early, but if you’ve ever wished your calendar understood distance, I’d love to hear your thoughts.
