Maybe not. But I might just stay sane.
I'm putting the finishing touches on Invoices Reader, and I decided to sell Lifetime Licenses instead of a monthly subscription.
Why?
1. Alignment: My users (accountants) hate recurring costs.
2. Cash Flow: As a bootstrapper, getting $49 upfront > getting $5/month.
3. Ownership: It fits the "Desktop App" vibe. You buy it, you own it.
I see a lot of "Subscription Fatigue" in 2025. Are you seeing this shift too? or is MRR still the only king?
