Why I'm building Amphioo

by

The problem

I've attended dozens of conferences where the "interactive" part meant scanning a QR code, downloading an app, creating an account... and by then the speaker has already moved on.

And if you're the organizer? It's even worse. You're stitching together:

- Slido for Q&A

- Kahoot for quizzes

- Google Forms for surveys

- Mentimeter for word clouds

Each one charges per participant. Each one has a different interface. Your audience is confused, and your budget is bleeding.

The idea

I wanted one platform that handles everything — with zero friction for attendees.

Amphioo gives you 6 session types in one place:

  1. Live Q&A — with moderation, upvotes, and admin replies

  2. Polls — with animated real-time bar charts

  3. Quizzes — scored, with live leaderboards

  4. Surveys — multi-question forms with aggregated results

  5. Word Clouds — visual, crowd-sourced responses

  6. Rapid Fire — synchronized, timed quiz rounds with countdown timers

Everything updates in real-time on a full-screen projector view. Attendees join with a simple code — no app downloads, no signups, no logins.

The pricing philosophy

Per-organizer, not per-participant. Your audience should never pay or feel gated. The free plan gives you 2 events and 50 participants to try it out.

I'd love your input

- What's your biggest frustration with current audience engagement tools?

- Which session types matter most for your events?

- Anything you wish existed that no tool offers today?
