Why is LinkedIn's own analytics dashboard still so bad in 2025?

by

We get a "Year in Review" for our music (Spotify), our code (GitHub), and even our food delivery. But for our professional careers? Nothing.

If I want to see how my posts performed in 2025, LinkedIn makes me download a raw Excel file.

I considered using third-party analytics tools, but I really didn't want to grant OAuth access or share my password just to generate a few bar charts. The privacy trade-off didn't feel right.

So, I built a client-side tool to parse that Excel export instantly in the browser. No server, no login, just the data. 100% Open Source

I’m curious: Do you trust third-party SaaS tools with your LinkedIn account access, or do you stick to the native stats?
