Why we intentionally don’t do predictions or signals in InvestBot
by•
Most investing tools I tried were built around predictions, signals, or "confidence scores".
They often gave answers, but rarely explained trade-offs, assumptions, or risks.
When I started building InvestBot, I made a deliberate decision:
no predictions, no buy/sell signals, no "market beating" promises.
Instead, the focus is on disciplined inputs (prices, fundamentals, constraints),
clear explanations of why decisions are made,
and helping investors avoid obvious mistakes rather than chasing perfect outcomes.
This approach is slower and less flashy - but feels more honest and sustainable.
Curious to hear from the community:
do you prefer tools that give you answers,
or tools that help you think through decisions yourself?
