The call ends, but is the job really done?
One thing we noticed while building Vaani is that the job doesn’t really end when the call ends.
Clients want to know what happened, whether the agent actually completed its task, what data was captured and whether something went wrong.
We’ve worked on this at Vaani and built a post-call processing flow that handles:
Call summaries and structured data extraction.
Success evaluation against the agent’s actual goals.
Tool-call and transfer analysis.
Call outcomes and sentiment.
Webhook delivery so clients can use the results in their own workflows.
One thing we were particular about was making sure call completion doesn’t have to wait for analysis. Basic call events go out immediately, while deeper analysis happens asynchronously.
Curious how other voice AI platforms handle this. Do you rely on a separate LLM judge for evaluating calls, or build your own evaluation pipeline?
What do you think is still missing from post-call analytics?
