I can't code. I'm building an AI product
by•
So, quick confession. I'm a marketer by trade, not an engineer.
My coding knowledge is basically zero.
But I had this massive pain point with AI tools in my daily workflow (a story for another time!) and I couldn't wait for someone else to solve it.
So I decided to build it myself.
I'm a couple weeks into building an AI workspace using Lovable and Supabase. It's been a wild ride of excitement, frustration, and a whole lot of fixing stuff I have never heard about.
Thought I'd open up the floor. For anyone else out there who's a non-technical founder and a king them this simple question:
What's your secret weapon tool that you couldn’t live without?

Love to hear that!
I’m in the same boat - zero coding, but didn't let that stop me.
My go-to has been Notion for planning and connecting workflows, plus Make and n8n for all the “glue” work. Amazing what you can build now without writing a line of code! Keep pushing, excited to see what you make.
Andrej, thank you for sharing your journey. I’ve found GitHub invaluable, not just as a code repository, but as a central place to organize, track, and collaborate on my project’s code securely. Another tool I use is Vercel which complements Github by making deployment effortless - it lets you launch and update your web app without thinking too much about infrastructure. And lastly, Evernote helps me stay organized, capturing ideas, notes, and resources that keep the whole process manageable. These three tools have been essential in bridging the gap from concept to product for me. Good luck with the build, can't find to see what you're creating!
Love this mindset — sometimes not waiting for “the right person” and just figuring it out yourself is the best way to build. Which tools do you use?
@viktorgems Replit, GitHub, CodeFlow, CanvasEight.io
Not so much a tool by itself, but a workflow using several tools - Claude or Gemini to create PRDs, Cursor to build out the project backends based on those PRDs, Lovable for the frontend, and Cursor (again) to connect it all!
I'm not sure if there's an easily acquired "secret", since you do need some basic programming knowledge and experience, but you might want to play with our stuff (open sauce!)

Basically, a vibe coding tool for "widgets", allowing you to create micro apps you inject into the chat stream. You can of course create fully fledged apps, but I suspect Lovable would be better for that.
The idea is to allow for creating contact us forms, checkout carts, etc. Probably the perfect tool for a marketing guy like you ... :)
Really enjoyed reading this thread. I’m building VaultHeal, a wellbeing app to help people move through heartbreak with structure and reflection, also completely no-code. Still finding my way with the tech side but loving the learning curve. Maybe not a no-code queen just yet, but getting there. 👑
