NuxtLabs joining Vercel - What it means for Volta

NuxtLabs, the makers of @Nuxt @Nuxt UI @Nuxt Studio and @Volta, announced they're joining @Vercel a few days ago.

As part of this transition, they took the decision to sunset @Volta on December 31, 2025. It will no longer be available starting January 1st, 2026.

Personally, I find their journey on Product Hunt really inspiring:

  • First launched on November 2022: got 12 upvotes

  • Launched on March 2023: got 186 upvotes

  • Launched Volta Chrome Extension on July 2023: got 110 upvotes

  • Launched Nuxt UI, the components library that powers Volta, on October 2023: got 301 upvotes, ranked #5 Product of the Day

Key takeaway: Launching multiple times create a tailwind. Keep launching.

Oh and... any suggestions for another, elegant GitHub desktop and web app?
