I profiled 100 successful indie hackers. The revenue number almost didn't matter. This did.
Spent the last few months building a research database of successful indie hackers for Yolidue's in-app content. Real revenue, timelines, stacks, marketing playbooks. Just crossed 100 profiles.
Going in, I expected to find some hidden tactic. A specific channel, a pricing trick, something you could screenshot and turn into a Twitter thread.
Didn't find one. What I found instead was almost boring: the founders who crossed from zero to "this is now my income" all have a daily cadence they don't break. Levels publishes. Marc Lou ships. DHH writes. Not weekly, not when inspired. Daily.
The tactics varied wildly across all 100. The cadence didn't.
Which made me more convinced that what solo founders actually need isn't another tool. It's someone who notices when the cadence breaks and pulls them back before day three turns into month two. That's the bet behind Yolidue (yolidue.info).
Question for this forum, for the founders here making real money: what's your non-negotiable daily thing? Not weekly. Daily.
