Why did we build this? Travel trackers are either boring checklists or gated behind heavy apps. We wanted a playful, social way to see your travels at a glance and spark friendly rivalry that actually makes you plan the next trip. What’s new & unique in this launch? • Travel Battle (no account needed): Share a link, your friend clicks, selects their countries on an interactive map, and instantly sees how they stack up against you and the global benchmark. Zero friction → perfect for ads and social. • Quests, not chores: Curated “quests” (Seven Wonders, Iconic Mountains, Desert Nations, etc.) turn geography into collectible achievements and streaks. • Smart territories logic: Clear handling of countries vs. territories so comparisons feel fair and consistent. • Public profiles built for sharing: Beautiful travel cards, favorites/upcoming pins, and percentile rank (“Top X% of travelers”)—made to be posted. • Visitor-first funnel: 2-step flow (Pick countries → Results) with a clean CTA to save progress—optimised for cold traffic. What we’re most proud of • The two-click Battle flow that converts curiosity from a social post into a fun reveal and sign-up. • A fast, elegant world map that feels good to click and looks great in screenshots. • The small details progress bars, “next goal” nudges, and badges that make ZikZak feel like a game you want to return to, not just a tracker.
