As someone who builds complex backend architectures and deployment pipelines, spending days tweaking CSS and frontend layouts for a landing page is a massive productivity killer. Framer is fantastic because it perfectly aligns with the "build and ship fast" mindset. It allows me to design and publish highly responsive, visually stunning websites in hours instead of days. The performance out of the box is incredible, and the no-code environment feels intuitive, letting me focus my coding efforts on the actual core product rather than the marketing site.

What needs improvement

While it's the perfect tool for fast landing pages, the CMS functionality can feel a bit restrictive if you are trying to build more complex, data-driven structures. Additionally, if you are an indie hacker or a developer spinning up multiple micro-projects and staging environments, the pricing structure per site can scale up faster than expected compared to traditional hosting.

vs Alternatives

I considered Webflow, WordPress, and simply hard-coding my landing pages from scratch using Next.js and Tailwind CSS. I chose Framer over custom coding because it dramatically reduces my time-to-market.
