I’ve used Suno casually for years, especially during creative bursts when I wanted to explore different genres or needed a custom track for a video. Several times it gave me exactly the inspiration I was looking for. It’s easy to use, and the team keeps making it better. Even now, I’m still astonished each time I hear my words come to life in music.

What needs improvement

integration difficulty (1)

1 - Still hard to get a consistent voice. The clone feature and other premium tools help, but I’m often trying to match a voice across different versions and can’t quite get there.

2- rendering queue management...I’d love a way to delete or hide mis-generations. I run a lot of 'generates' before landing on the right one, and my list of tracks gets messy. Would be great to clear out the ones that totally missed the prompt.

3- editing is improving, but some of it is clunky when trying to mix two or five versions together.

vs Alternatives

When I started with Suno, I wasn’t aware of other tools. It worked great from for what I needed, so I just stuck with it. Haven’t felt the need to look elsewhere.

Suno is a great helper in terms of quickly creating and expressing your musical ideas. I am pretty happy to use this tool to make fun stuff for my friends and social media. The updates are frequent and cool. I highly appreciate the editing feature, the possibility of customizing the music material development, and the new algorithm that gets melodies from custom audio of you humming a melody, allowing you to move forward quickly in developing your song ideas.

What needs improvement

Sometimes songs tend to shift to hard rock, as it seems to be the popular generation mode

It's a great tool for generate musical ideas or inspiration. Outputs are accurate and result in great tunes.

What needs improvement

Maybe I miss having some kind of declarative prompt, in the sense that you could give it instructions to improve certain parts of the track. For example: “I like the guitar solo, add more distortion and delays to make it more present.”

Anyway, I think it’s an amazing tool. Cheers.
