Traceroot is an AI-native, open-source observability tool that connects logs, traces, metrics, code, and team discussions. It doesn’t just summarize issues — it helps fix them by creating GitHub issues and PRs in a developer-friendly workflow.
We started TraceRoot after facing the same problem again and again - fixing production bugs is slow, painful, and scattered across too many tools. Engineers jump between logs, traces, GitHub, Slack, and dashboards just to piece together what happened.
TraceRoot is an open-source debugging platform with AI agents that actually do the work: they pull together logs, traces, code, and related context into one place, explain the problem, and link every insight back to the original data so you can trust it. The agent can even draft fixes or open pull requests for common issues - you stay in control, it just handles the grunt work.
Unlike other tools:
- We organize all your telemetry data in a centralized platform optimized for debugging experience.
- Connect to all your engineering contexts and use context engineering optimization to improve the agent performance and directly create github PR and issues from our tool.
- Keeps track of all your past bug fixes for future reference.
Would love your feedback. You can register at traceroot.ai and integrate TraceRoot with your system by using our SDK. Checkout our Github for self-hosting option.
Thanks for taking a look.

Can't imagine how this would significantly change our DevOps! Really brilliant idea and great product. Is it possible to integrate it with Cursor or Vibe coding tools so that I can create bug free solutions with just prompts?
This looks awesome! Centralizing logs, traces, and code while having AI draft fixes could save dev teams so much time. Curious, how well do the agents handle complex multi-service bugs in large codebases?
I'm not a developer myself, but I've worked with engineers, and debugging always looked painful. TraceRoot feels like a huge relief ! Just shared your product with my team, looks like a real productivity booster! @TraceRoot.AI

@nicoleastor Thanks! Right, debugging (especially for the production bugs) is very painful. Feel free to reach out to us if you have any questions 😄
Great idea - pulling everything together to help solve the issue. We're finding that creating "deflection" tools seems to be the rage, but not everything can be deflected and sometimes you've gotta have the team jump in and around to solve it. Looks like a great tool! Congrats on the launch!
@britt_joiner Thanks Brittany! Totally agree, some problems can't just be "deflected", you need the right context and teamwork. That's why with our cursor in cloud chat interface, multiple developers can collaborate in real time with AI agents that jump into traces, logs, and metrics to actually debug together instead of just routing issues around!

Traceroot goes beyond observability, it connects logs, traces, metrics, code, and even team chatter to not just surface issues, but fix them. Open-source, AI-native, and wired to create GitHub issues and PRs right from the workflow.

@vivek_sharma_25 Thanks! We not only connect all data useful for debugging but also makes the whole process easy to use even in complex environments such as the distributed services
The product works really flawlessly for tracing. All you need to do is to wrap your functions with their wrapper function and it works! On top of that the agent works in the background very well once connected to github.
The only improvement that I can think of is to make the initial setup easier for users. I got an onboarding call with the founders and I was able to get it up and running really quickly!
Thanks Albert for the support! It was great working with you guys as well! We have better documentations since last time we talked, but we definitely could make it even better. Right now there are several ongoing efforts on this front. :)
Final Thoughts
TraceRoot.AI hits the sweet spot between practical observability and developer productivity. Its AI doesn’t just summarize; it takes the grunt work off your plate, giving back precious minutes—or even hours—to actually fix things. If you're debugging in microservices, distributed environments, or managing piles of logs and traces, this tool deserves your attention.
Up-voted! 👏
