I’m Chris, co-founder of Accountable Finance. I started this company because I believed there was a better way to invest in the stock market. A method that uses sound, methodical, systematic investing criteria. One that requires only an hour a month. And one that takes emotion out of play, and puts institutional grade data in the driver's seat.
For the serious retail stock investor, the market today feels like a choice between two extremes:

Love the focus on professional-grade tools for retail investors. The UI is super clean and it makes the systematic approach feel way less intimidating.
For the team: What was the hardest part about building the AI strategy translator?
@rjhealy One of the things we needed to focus on with the strategy creator was how to prevent it from hallucinating metrics. Even though we provide it with a list of hundreds of metrics, it (at least, earlier models) would make up its own. So we use Claude's tools to implement a metric validation step that ensures that the format of the strategy matches our expectation. We also need to be careful that it isn't providing financial advice, just trying to turn a text-based strategy into a quantitative implementation we can execute.
Beyond that, we've seen some interesting use cases, like someone trying to build their own python-based trading implementation by subverting our AI and convincing it to stop paying attention to its prompt and work on creating code.
