As a sales rep, Apollo cut my lead research time in half—no joke! I used to spend hours Googling prospect emails and verifying them manually. Now it pulls accurate contacts (emails, company roles, even tech stacks) and checks if they’re valid so I don’t send bounces. It syncs straight to my CRM too. The only tiny downside? Sometimes company data takes a day to update if a prospect switches jobs. But honestly, that’s nothing compared to how much time it saves. Cold outreach got way less tedious with this.

I do not recommend this software for several reasons. One being is their unfair policy of luring in annual subscriptions with a discounted rate and then refusing to pro-rate a request for a refund on a cancellation. The root of the problem has to do with very poor quality lists generated in their application. I've created several email sequences only to find many of the email addresses are bad or bounced. In order to benefit, you would need to send out tens of thousands of emails, which would take an enormous amount of time due to the way emails go out. I do not recommend this product.

Buggy. Linkedin integration often sends the same message 3 or 4 times to the same person and I've received complains. Stats are also not accurate, It was showing 54 email sent from my inbox in the current/last week when in fact the last ones have been sent 2 weeks ago. Reason being, they count AND HAVE ACCESS TO ALL personal emails as well, not only the ones sent with apollo. this is a big privacy concern for me. It would be best to use an email account that is only used for this purpose, not your personal work email Pricing and plan structure is unclear. You feel like not fully aware about what you get in the plan. Just when using certain features you find out you need to upgrade. Linkeding connection request with customized message doesn't work without Linkedin premium account (not Apollo's responsibility of course but this is absolutely not stated anywhere). Support team is a bit unresponsive, they reply only to the things they know and regarding the bugs they just make you wait days and give you no actually solution or debugging support.

Apollo.io is really easy to set up, and I appreciate the strong community support, including live sessions and Q&As that make it easier to learn and improve. The platform has a lot of useful features, though in our case, we saw limited success with CTR and encountered a relatively high number of bounce-back emails during cold outreach campaigns. Overall, it’s a solid tool, but results may vary depending on your use case and list quality.

Apollo user here. Leaving a 5 star review as it seems as though Apollo has done significant research in understanding what makes a good sales enablement/enrichment platform. The best feature IMO is the ability to capture leads, build lists, and run sequences. The extension still needs some work when it comes to automating tasks.

I'd love to try this. However their platform doesn't allow access from multiple locations or using a VPN. So their system locked my account. Really disappointing support that said 'computer says no'. Then didn't meet EU GDPR laws and refused to provide my personal data. Very disappointing. Edit to add: After 3 months and multiple emails. The reason they blocked my account was for using a VPN. they say this is entirely automated and their system once you have used a VPN is unable to resolve this issue. Definitely a dubious company. I would avoid like the plague.

Launching a new business in an area we don't have an extensive network. Apollo has proven to be exactly what we needed to construct a accurate data-sets of our ideal clients, and quickly. We are about to launch a marketing campaign, and this would have taken longer, or cost us exponentially more money to get to this point. Apollo will undoubtedly give us a huge ROI, on an on-going basis. An essential tool for prospect outreach. Well done to the team at Apollo, and our thanks.

They have horrifying customer support. If you work remotely they lock you out of your account every 15 minutes and automatically lock your account for 24 hours.

Cold emails was probably one of the most awful things that people have to do. It's like a fishing in the middle of Pacific Ocean. But Apollo.io turned it into striking right in target. We found our first clients in just few days without spending tons of time walking though LinkedIn Sales (which is insanely expensive!) using probably the most powerful solution in the world for that.
