For years my own week lived in three places: a work calendar, a couple of to-do apps, and my head. None of them showed the shape of the week, or where health, money, and the people I care about were supposed to fit. Work got planned to the minute; everything else ran on whatever time was left. So I built asambl: a private AI weekly planner for your whole life across six areas, work, health, money, relationships, joy, and growth. You capture what matters, and it drafts a week sized to the capacity you actually have. It proposes; you decide what makes the cut, and accepted blocks sync to the calendar you already use. Two things I cared about from the start: your notes and plans stay on your machine as files you own, and the AI can be switched off entirely. When AI is on, only the prompt for that request goes to asambl's managed AI, and it isn't kept long-term. It's a desktop app for macOS and Windows, free during the beta. I'd genuinely value your feedback, especially on where the planning model breaks down for you.

Love the local-first angle and the it-proposes-you-decide model, that already sets it apart from the usual cloud planners. One thing I'd really want is a quick "rollback last week" option when a draft gets auto-replaced after edits, maybe with a side-by-side diff so I can pick what stays.

@sahinu89740 thank you! BYOK/Ollama is on the roadmap. Atm all data remains local, however prompts are sent to cloud llm with only information needed for that prompt. That is a good idea, although at present calendar blocks can be auto-added or 1-by-1.
