I'm Arto, founder of Async (you might know us as Podcastle). Today we're launching Async Bumblebee, a chat-based video editor. Instead of learning a timeline, you describe the edit in plain language and Bumblebee does it.
Why we built it: We kept meeting solopreneurs, social media managers, and small teams who had great ideas and real footage, but lost hours in CapCut trimming silences, syncing captions, and nudging clips on a timeline. They wanted someone to just edit it for them.
How chat-based editing works: Upload your footage and tell Bumblebee what you want:
"Cut the dead air and tighten this to 45 seconds."
"Add bold captions and make the hook punchier."
"Make a product ad from this clip."
It understands the edit, applies it, and you keep refining through chat until it's publish-ready.
