Review Bardeen?
Reviewers mostly see Bardeen as a practical browser automation tool that saves real time on repetitive work, especially for scraping, lead collection, and moving data across apps like Gmail, Notion, calendars, LinkedIn, Asana, and sites without solid APIs. They praise its ease of use, one-click shortcuts, and lightweight feel, though several ask for better tutorials, clearer guidance, more integrations, and features like easier webhooks and string templating. The main criticism is reliability and pricing changes: some say workflows bug out, break without clear feedback, and became expensive after unexpected credit limits.
Overall, it was fantastic. There are some issues with the system's integration and responses. Some parts are not yet intuitive, but this is definitely very easy to use and saves a lot of time!
As an automation expert, I'm always looking for tools to automate the "last mile." Bardeen is exactly that tool for the browser. It brilliantly handles tasks on sites that don't have a proper API. The built-in AI transforms simple automations into smart workflows. An indispensable tool for anyone who is serious about efficiency
Everything is perfect here. Just one small thing for beginners is if you can increase the tutorials in the post or video format then it would be great.
Apart from this, Bardeen is an extremely useful and powerful tool to automate most of things (even those which you cannot imagine)
Amazing! The best thing since sliced bread! I love using this to be more productive ! Also, I would love to see more integrations with google Keep and other Google services
This is an amazingly easyly used tool! Saves loads of manual work. For every new task I get, I always starts to think "wonder how much time I will save using Bardeen".
Bardeen has opened a few new business ideas as well, that I couldn´t have done without it.
The thing I personaly need most to be improved right now is the support for string templating and easier way to send data to webhooks. Its on the roadmap so it will be even easier to use.
Bardeden is the easiest scraper and automation tool there is - it's so nice that I can set up playbooks and prompts directly in the browser, without leaving the site I'm on.
What's great
web scraping (4)playbooks (2)browser-based setup (2)
I have been using bardeen for building list of leads from LinkedIn and collaborate it with Asana. Have been a helpful tool for me and my team to be able to generate leads fastly and effecienctly the scraper is one of my favorite tool we save 30% - 50% of our time from the manual process to autamating the process! Love to explore more! Kudos!
Is a great tool with excellent UX. Making WebScraping accessible to noncoders is great. Was working fine until they charged 10 usd for 500 credits. found that was too expensive because 3 basic webscraping task consumed them really fast. made the calc for my need and cost me an eye.
switching back to powerautomate.
My team gave Bardeen a try to automate some recurring tasks. I used it to set up calendar workflows and data pulls. It’s a powerful idea, but it sometimes breaks without clear feedback. The interface could use better guidance. We’ll keep testing, but it’s not there yet.
i’ve been using bardeen for a while and it really fits into my workflow. i just set up a few shortcuts for things i usually do across gmail and notion, and it performs them with one click. i like that it doesn’t feel heavy or complicated to use. it just quietly does what i need while i focus on actual work. kinda became one of those tools i didn’t realize i needed until i started using it regularly.
EDIT: There’s no reply button so I’ll reply here. It’s not about the money. I could easily afford this and gladly would have done so as it’s a damn good app.
It’s about the principle. There’s no way none of
your 30+ employees or your marketing department thought “Hey, this might be unexpected to the people heavily using the premium functions. They’ll likely run out of their 500 credits fast!”
Which means it was a deliberate and conscious decision. You could have easily made a little banner last month saying “Bardeen is moving some functions to a Premium subscription. Don’t worry, you’ll be able to continue using most of our tools for free! See the upcoming changes here: (link).”
Was an amazing tool, turns out it was too good to be true.
Bardeen made the service subscription based out of nowhere without any prior in app notice.
They basically used everyone as beta testers while being "free" to collect feedback and tons of talk + positive feedback about them. That part wouldn't even be much of a problem.
The problem is they rug-pulled their many users by adding this out of nowhere. Basically not giving people the chance to find an alternative if they became dependent on Bardeen. Which forces them to subscribe.
Truly a baffling move for a business with an excellent reputation to stain their reputation and name like this. People would have likely subscribed anyway. You must greatly underestimate the advantage you threw away by doing this. It is worth a 100x times more than a few extra subs.
On top of that it constantly bugs out on various things that worked excellent.
Hi Dani,
Really sorry you feel that way. I am more than happy to help you and give you enough credits to ensure continuity of your workflows.
All existing users are automatically getting 1 month and free credits to ensure continuity of their workflows. I am happy to extend the trial period for you (and anyone else who needs it).
