@Percival no worries buddy. We have particularly not been targeting SF as we've identified the most lucrative Englishs speaking markets - in which we have the market leader position in terms of electronic music artists today.

@Percival we've been building features that have been requested by our users - and have some CRM-like features already developed and the product roadmap full of stuff that helps them not only keep organized, but to attract more bookings through the platform. The aim is to be the de-facto platform for artists to get gigs.

@Percival The competitive landscape has actually popped up recently. We were the first among Gigit (they launched earlier as though, with funding). Then Muzeek from Australia, they are doing a good job in the traditional venue->artist sector. Then there is Sidestage (hi Daniel, thanks for scouting us out earlier this week), who recently launched in Berlin, London, NYC. Where as they all focus on providing every band, dj or group for everyone -we focus on offering the lower cost/lower maintenance artists that are DJs or EDM groups. So basically we are the first booking service that targets the urban music sector (EDM/Hip Hop)

@Percival actually yes: if we were to come to 500 Startups, what would there be for a music startup other than great growth/distribution help you could offer? PS: I've scouted out the other music investments you've made, there might be some useful collaboration between us and some of your portfolio.

@Percival also, did you have showering facilities in the 500 premises? I could pick up the mail and brew coffee in the mornings.

@radikaalanssi We a few mentors who are DJs or DJ fans that's for sure :) Other things include product help, understand how to scale a marketplace and fundraising. We have done a few investments into the events and event booking industry. Perhaps better opportunities there for collab,

@Percival most definitely, and we already have a support for that through our RESTful API. Would want to learn more via email. Oh yes, an addition to your first answer: I believe we would have a lot of things to work with as we are insanely growth/distribution hacking oriented. We do have a couple of very big things coming up shortly - would be the perfect time to add the extra level of power to the mixture.
