Billshark saved me a total of $25..amazing .. right?
Not really, I would have expected them to find more optimization in the longer term. But all I got was a invoice for $12.50 and no response to my note below:

I dont mind paying this, but it was a lot of back and forth and waiting to save $12.50 - Don't you think - If you negotiated my bill down from $144 to $125 ( hypothetically for 2 years ) I get that we each could split $228 but the $12.50 seems really a much about nothing.
I think the "Shark" in this case did not look into how the longer term contract could be optimized, they looked at a one time overseas call charge and told t-mobile to reduce that charge.

All the reminding about the invoice of $12.50 and a yellow banner is great, I paid up but I wont return.
@ra_ma Each negotiation experience is different. Some bills just have more "meat on the bones" than others. The good news here is that you were/are already in a great rate with your provider!

Oh my god! This is brilliant. Every two years I have to get on the phone with my bloodsucking cable company to renegotiate my "package deal" to prevent a $30/mo price hike for the same exact offering because of some promotional expiration. It is the bane of my existence, and I've previously upgraded to business class services just for the longer contract terms to prevent myself from going through this so often. I am signing up right now to try this out. Had this been around a few years ago, you would have saved me considerable hair loss!
@jimmylipham thanks! We also track existing promotion expiration dates as well as any expirations to savings we achieve so we can continue to negotiate on your behalf. This allows you to keep the bill/rate as low as possible over the life of your relationship with your provider!

@steve_mckean Steve, just submitted my first batch of bills and am excited to see the results. The app feels very slow though and seems a bit dated...haven't seen loading screens like that in an iOS app in a while.

I like the idea of this, but do we have to pay you 50% of the savings over the next year in advance? I might do it for a monthly payment, but having to pay any large chunk of money up front would undermine the idea behind the service...

Wow! I have no words to describe how I feel after uploading a few of my bills, to be honest, I did it just as an experiment. A few minutes later I received a call from a "shark-girl" asking me a few more questions. What happened next? I have saved $220+ in total. Just like that, as an experiment. Isn't that good? ;)
