The free version it's OK, but it does generate awkward text, especially when you ask to re-write something.

Instead of having to read through a ton of search material, I can simply give my eyes a rest and provide a thorough review of the piece written by ChatGPT. This has not only saved me time but may also result in fewer complaints from researchers who would otherwise visit an optician due to eye strain.

Chat GPT is a great application to use for getting useful content ideas and information. One of the most useful purpose of Chat GPT is its multifunctional aspect and the power to adjust according to different conversational tones. Although a good application it has some limitations as its fetches and generates responses on data which is up to 2021 only.

I tried to get around the safeguards that ChatGPT put in place. It's a bit like a stern adult who doesn't want to have any fun. I see this as mostly a tool for younger people who don't have as many technical skills, or are just lazy and don't want to write papers. My brother uses it to ask technical questions, and ChatGPT gives pretty good answers. About the most fun I had was asking it to write a sarcastic movie review for a movie I just watched. So it's a good tool, but I just don't need to use it.

My use for ChatGPT involves legal work and documents - intensive and lengthy documents. For that purpose, GPT 3 is too limited (hopefully GPT 4 will have more capacity). However, my employees are beginning to effectively incorporate GPT into their workflows. So, to that extent, it's a win!
