It's a good analogy and we've talked about the comparison internally as well, however the main difference is that with ad blockers, the users can easily tell when there is a paywall or other mechanisms in place. With cleanCART, when users visit finish shopping and proceed to checkout with a browser extension like Honey or CapitalOne Shopping, the extensions will attempt to automatically apply coupons, but cleanCART will block their attempts. Users will then see a notification from the extension that "you have the best price", which is the same thing they would see if extensions did not have any valid coupons at that time. With the reassurance they are not missing out on a deal and no impact to their regular checkout experience, they are less likely to leave than say getting hit with a paywall on your favorite news site :)
