Most speed tests give you a number. The number is rarely the interesting part. I built this because the useful question isn't "how fast is my line today" but "is this as good as my address allows". So after the measurement, the tool cross-checks your result against fibre coverage data published as open data by ARCEP, the French telecoms regulator: 34,870 communes, recalculated every quarter. Technically it runs entirely client-side against Cloudflare's public endpoints. Three parallel streams for download, two for upload, and throughput is computed on the stabilised window rather than the TCP ramp-up, so a fast fibre line doesn't get under-reported. No backend, no account, nothing stored. It's French-facing, but the measurement engine works anywhere. Happy to answer questions on the method.
