CostMyDish is a free food costing calculator built for chefs, home bakers, caterers, and food truck owners. Build an ingredient library, cost recipes live as you add ingredients, and set prices that hit your food cost % target — across multiple selling formats (per slice, per portion, per combo) from one recipe.
The per-slice and per-combo pricing from a single recipe is a nice touch, saves a lot of recalculating. Wish the ingredient library was a bit easier to bulk import at first, but the live cost updates as you type are genuinely satisfying.
@seherkrmacmvsb Thanks! 🙌 That’s exactly what we wanted with the live cost updates and multiple selling formats — less recalculating and more clarity when pricing a dish. We’re also looking at ways to make the initial ingredient setup and bulk importing much easier. Really appreciate the feedback!
honestly the live costing as you add ingredients is pretty slick, way faster than pulling out a spreadsheet. the multi-format pricing per slice or combo from one recipe is a nice touch too
