I built CreditTally because I could never remember which of my cards earned what. One earns 3x on dining, another 6% on groceries up to a cap, another 5x on flights but only booked directly with the airline. I was defaulting to the same card everywhere and leaving real money on the table. So the extension does the remembering for you. When you hit a checkout page, it detects the merchant and total, matches it against the reward structures of the cards you actually carry (4,000+ cards supported), and shows which one earns the most on that exact purchase. It also reminds you of card perks at relevant stores, like the statement credits premium cards bury in their benefits pages. A privacy note, because it matters with anything money-adjacent: it never sees or asks for card numbers. You pick your cards by name. Only the cart total and merchant cat are used to compute the recommendation, and no browsing history is collected.
