Homo Rationalis is a simple, powerful game that sharpens team decision-making by building awareness of cognitive biases and logical fallacies. Players simulate common errors, using elaborative learning to strengthen recall and recognise biases in real time. It also refocuses attention on the core of an argument, reducing distractions from irrelevant points.
This is a critical thinking and decision-making card game I built for cross-functional teams. It started as an experiment in improving decision quality inside a software company—trying to create something fun, interactive, and genuinely useful. After a long journey, it’s now fully manufactured, and Product Hunt felt like the right place to share it, given how many of us work in cross-functional teams where good decisions are everything.
It’s designed to be played with colleagues, spark better conversations, and build real decision-making skill. All profits go toward funding critical thinking and decision-making programs for high school and university students.
