Reviewers largely see Cursor as a strong daily driver for AI-assisted coding: fast, deeply integrated into the editor, and especially good at understanding whole codebases, handling multi-file edits, debugging, refactoring, and reducing context switching. Several say it improves flow more than Copilot or other tools, and even helps non-coders or product people ship work. The main complaints are less about core usefulness than reliability and control: freezes, stalls, occasional weak context handling on complex projects, verbose or imperfect output, and confusing or shifting pricing.
