Resurface your favorite travel memories. Keep a beautiful log of where life has taken you. Get the data that matters — days per country for tax residency, visa warnings, Schengen limits. All from your iPhone photos, scanned locally. Nothing ever uploaded.

As a nomad constantly counting days for the Schengen shuffle, this is a lifesaver. The manual spreadsheets were driving me crazy! 🤯 Regarding the tax residency alerts, can I customize the specific day thresholds for different countries, or is it strictly locked to the standard 183-day rule?

Thanks for the kind words! Fellow nomad here, those spreadsheets are brutal.
A few things:
Make sure you add your passport and tax residency in Settings. The app uses that to calculate risks.
Right now it flags after 60 days in a country, which covers most jurisdictions.
Do you have a specific case in mind? Happy to hear what thresholds would be useful for you.
One thing I'm committed to:
keeping the app fully offline. No servers, no internet connection. So any updates need to work locally. Tell me more about your use case, I'd love to understand what you're tracking and see if there's a way to support it without compromising privacy.

@yoang_loo @vladstan Staying 'fully offline' sounds cool. What about data export/import? What happens if I change my device? Any ideas about enabling users to backup their own data while staying server-free?

Great question!
Since DaysAround scans your photo library to build your travel history, your photos are your backup.
Change device? Just reinstall the app and rescan.
Your travel data rebuilds from your photos automatically.
We intentionally don't use iCloud or any cloud sync, your location data never leaves your device, period.
If you're backing up your photos (however you do that), you're backing up your DaysAround data too.

@spadez Investigating now, how we can introduce cities.
Great idea! I’ve already visited 70+ countries and continue to explore new ones)
