Your day is already recorded. Calendar, Slack, GitHub, Todoist. But a week later, you can't remember what Tuesday felt like. deariary connects to your tools, collects yesterday's activity overnight, and writes a diary. Every morning, automatically. You never write a word. You just read and remember. How it works: 1. Connect your tools (Calendar, Slack, GitHub, Todoist, Toggl, Steam, Bluesky) 2. AI writes your diary overnight 3. Wake up and feel something Free plan. No credit card required.

Hey everyone! I'm Yuji, a solo full-stack engineer based in Japan.
I have never been able to keep a diary. I've tried paper notebooks, apps, templates. The pattern was always the same: a week of momentum, then silence. The busiest days were always the first ones I stopped writing about.
But I was recording my life all along. My calendar knew where I was. GitHub knew what I shipped. Slack knew who I talked to. The pieces were there, scattered across a dozen services. No one was putting them together.
One day, I fed a day of my activity data into an LLM and asked it to write a diary entry. What came back stopped me.
It was a completely ordinary day. I had merged some pull requests, played a game in the evening, chatted with a friend about nothing in particular. None of it was remarkable. But reading the entry, the whole day came back to me. The shape of it, the rhythm, the small moments between tasks. A friend said something funny before bed. Slack would have buried it in a week. The diary kept it.
That was the moment I knew I had to build this.
deariary connects to Google Calendar, Slack, GitHub, Todoist, Toggl Track, Steam, Bluesky, and more. Every night it collects your activity and writes a diary entry. Every morning you wake up to yesterday, fully written.
You never write a word. You just read, and remember.
I'd love to hear what you think. Happy to answer any questions!
Today is the day! Excited (and nervous) to finally have deariary out in the world.
Would love to hear your honest thoughts! What would make you actually use something like this?
I'll be posting updates and behind-the-scenes on the blog as I go: blog.deariary.com
Free plan available (1 integration, 30 days history). Paid plans start at $6.99/mo for more integrations and smarter AI models!
If you made it this far, thank you for reading. It means a lot to ship something you believe in and have people actually look at it.
Thanks! Your activity data is sent to LLM providers (Google/Anthropic) to generate the diary, and raw data is stored on our servers so you can re-generate entries anytime. We use Google Cloud Storage with AES-256 encryption. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest. You can delete all your data anytime from settings. Happy to answer anything more specific!
