Dia is the AI browser from The Browser Company. Chat with your tabs, write in your own voice, learn and plan faster, shop, and more — all with privacy that you control.
Product Hunt is usually nothing but love, but the hate for Dia here is well earned. Another bait and switch from an otherwise promising company. Hopefully, they pivot back to Arc.
@paulgeller they definitely won't pivot back to Arc, but they might bring some of "Arc's greatest hits" to Dia.

Any chance there will be a Windows version of this?

How does The Browser Company plan to compete with dominant AI browsers like Chrome and Edge, given their massive market share and advanced AI features? Also, what support will be offered to Arc users now that new features are discontinued in favor of Dia?

@vouchy yeah, hate to say this 'cause I love scrappy startups and I've long loved Arc (it's still my primary browser!), but this feels like a feature alarmingly similar to a lot of the Chrome AI extensions available today... and also something that's inevitable with Gemini & Chrome.
It’s interesting to see a browser designed specifically around minimizing distractions and boosting focus. How does DIA handle notifications or external content that typically interrupts deep work?
This looks incredible! No more juggling between tabs. Definitely trying this out!

Really looking forward to Dia! The idea of chatting with your tabs and having an AI that helps you think, write, and browse smarter sounds incredibly useful. Can’t wait to see how it reimagines the browser experience — especially with a strong focus on privacy.

Just not sure how TBC makes a mark here.
