Updated September 2026
Hi everyone!
Domternal has grown since this original launch. Angular, React, Vue and Vanilla integrations are now available, alongside the headless ProseMirror core.
Domternal is a TypeScript-first rich text editor for developers building editing experiences into their applications. Use the ready-made components, toolbar and menus, or build your own interface around the headless core.
The MIT-licensed Free edition includes:
• Classic and Notion-style editing
• Slash commands, drag-and-drop block controls and nested tasks
• Tables with merge and resize
• Images, mentions, emoji, math and Markdown
• A customizable toolbar with light and dark themes
Domternal Pro is now available as optional paid add-on packages. It adds real-time collaboration, inline comments and threads, version history, an AI assistant connected to your own endpoint, resizable columns, and local Word (.docx) and PDF export.
Collaboration connects to infrastructure you choose. Document export runs in your browser or Node.js process without requiring a third-party conversion service.
The Free editor remains MIT-licensed. You can use it independently and add Pro when your application needs those additional capabilities.

I'd love to hear what you're building and what would make Domternal more useful in your application.
Feedback and questions are welcome!
