The basic idea is really good, the work is well made, but what you made available to anyone is just opening the fuckin hell against all of us. Should be declared illegal to have this blinking thing.

@antoineplu Thank you for your comment. Appreciate the concern. A lot of the users are actually using the widget in a very subtle way without the blinking feature. Check @ggarnhart website for example.

It's a smart tool, adding the call to action on specific pages and so on. Personally, I have turned the blinking off, but it would be good to have a set number of blinks it can do, so it catches attention, but not annoys enough to have to close a tab. features I'd like to see: I would like to be able to set the amount of time that the text flashes for. I would like to have a choice of emojis rather than copy paste. I would like it to scrape the URLS of my site, so I don't have to manually load each page . I would like to be able to organise my pages into categories eg: All my article pages or all my article pages regarding X topic.. So I can group content with specific calls to action. I would like to be able to change the CTA after a set amount of time (get a free trail... then it changes to ... hurry, offer finishing soon). I would like to be able to set a countdown timer to create a sense of urgency. I would like to be able to place a cookie on a user so if they visit again I can have an offer specifically for them. I would also like to a/b test the CTA's and get some analytics to see what converts into action

@benjamin_powell Love this list! Some points are must-have improvements but also like the more creative ones like the countdown timer and cookie tracking. It's definitely something we could consider.

I have a feeling this will decrease customer interaction. People don't want to see annoying website behavior while browsing. A blinking tab is a straight up 'NO'. It's creative though 👌

I don't think it will increase CR, it will rather cause the tabs to be closed.
