Dubble is a documentation tool that watches how you work and translates your actions into written step-by-step guides, videos and screenshots - so you don’t have to.
I've been using Dubble since the start, and it's still the best "docs" writer out there. Video and screenshots, and now an API so I can put my docs anywhere...
@versoflow thanks Jonathan, you're definitely one of the earliest ones! Appreciate the support

I used to record with Loom, then manually take screenshots from the video and add annotations separately. Would then have to ask ChatGPT to write a step-by-step guide.
Dubble just removed all those steps and helped me make a how-to video in 5 minutes. This whole process used to take me half a day. Incredible!!
Good luck!
We’ve been using Paperform, another product by the same team, and we absolutely love it.
I have great trust in Dean, Dionysia, and their team. They consistently create software that is not only highly functional but also beautifully designed. Their support team is fantastic—knowledgeable, responsive, and always helpful.
I’m confident this product will become a leading solution for documentation creation.
Here’s some early feedback we’ve gathered:
• It seems the desktop app doesn’t yet support multiple monitors.
• Firefox users feel a bit left out, though I understand it may not be a top priority right now. :)
• An AI voice-over feature would be a great addition, in my opinion.
• It would be helpful to have a feature that automatically adds numbered steps in the photo editing screen. (See the attached screenshot from the Snagit app. I recall Screensteps had a similar function.) This would save time when we don’t need to create separate steps for every point.

@kaan_aksoy appreciate the feedback Kaan 👏👏 It's been so amazing seeing so many of our favourite Paperform customers jump in and support us building something new.

Great Work, Team! But I have a question: What unique features set it apart from similar products?

Really liking it so far - it's simple to use and makes creating instructions so easy, especially if you need to change your docs quite frequently. Usually this means creating a whole new documentation from scratch, but now I can just replace the screenshots with new ones. When are you guys planning to add video editing features? This would be a game changer :D
@arianne_r video editing is 💯 on the cards! So glad you're getting value from Dubble already

Congrats on the launch, @dean_mcpherson! You’ve done a fantastic job with the landing page—it was clear within the first 10 seconds what your tool is all about. I really appreciate the simplicity and ease of use. One feature I’d love to see is animated text on each step, as that would be a big addition for me. I’m also curious—how do you plan to differentiate yourself from tools like Arcade? I’ve bookmarked this for future projects. Great work!
@matevz_mak thanks! RE the animated text, I assume you mean in the video? Currently we're aiming to be somewhere between loom and other straight documentation tools - so the video output is a little different to the guided flows of tools like Arcade. We hope this means that Dubble guides will be a little more human, and cater to people who learn in different ways.

@dean_mcpherson Yes, I was thinking of putting animated text in the video and that you can position them where you want. Is this difficult to do?
