@mrjeremyblaze - I love the simplicity in that I just include my API key in the URL, but where are the security measures? How do I know if someone starts using my API key on there own?

I love the idea, but I think many people won't pay for this, because if you are in IT field worker, you know how to do a screenshot, a FREE screenshot. Better make it free, drive a traffic and make money on advertising (personal opinion).

@robert_melkonyan Thanks for the feedback Robert! Sounds interesting. The main audience here isn't really full-on developers. They'd be far more likely to go for something like URL2PNG anyway which seems to be the industry standard. The original use case was for social media promotion. I've written a little about that on the website.

The service looks cool and has more features than free ones, but Its really overpriced for a service that only serves to take screenshots, even with some extra functions, its functions are pricey for the price asked (8 to 12 a month in a annual plan...)

If it had anything to compare parts and even take screencasts (gifs or movies), it wold be better than the current feature set for the price or even better, to be able to convert images to text, grids and etc to compare layouts....

Only for static images, its really expensive

Pros:

The service seems fine and it has a clean layout comparing to others

Cons:

Pricey for the features

This seems like a great idea, and I LOVE how nice and simple you've made your website. Some thoughts: 1. Even though the simplicity of the URL call will be a large selling point for many, a simple API for those who would wish to keep their key private would be useful. 2. Since your target is not really "developers" on the whole, a greater explanation of the viewport setting and whether this can be used to capture "full page screenshots" or not would be beneficial.

@harmonic_design Hey Dylan, thanks for the great feedback! A private API is actually in the works - I’ve found that I sometimes need it too. Releasing that would also mean I can remove the site restrictions (where you have to add all the sites you wish to screenshot) because the keys would be secret. Regarding viewports, I totally agree with you here. The documentation needs lots of work. I’m going to be pushing up heaps of changes over the next few days and that will include documentation improvements 😄 Thanks again for the great feedback and your support of Enpose!!

Congrats on the launch, Jeremy! I am always on the look out for a good screenshot tool for my work. I agree with the others - it's high at $8/month. There is another screenshot tool similar to yours that i came across on PH which is $1/month, first 1000 screenshots free etc. I recommend a very low pricing and get quantity rather than high price during your launch period with low subscribers. Just my thought but well done again! I have added it to my collections :)

I personally don’t know why anyone would pay for this either. Before I knew how to capture screenshots on my Mac *long time ago* ... I simply googled “how to take a screenshot” and within 10 seconds I knew how. Sure same thing could apply for windows. For free. Just my opinion 😬😬 good luck!
