It will change the internet. It'd be nice if implemented on group WhatsApp or Telegram to reduce spam notification. Google should think about this to fight email spam to. Email from non-contact list should pay $.

This concept should be applied to intra-office email/chat communications. Or meetings. Apply cost to disruption like this and it could make communications between co-workers or meetings far more productive.

@marckohlbrugge not sure if you have realized, but you are tapping into a multi-billion dollar industry. A few days ago, the Italian TV exposed the illegal business of pay-per-message dating chatroom. Users pay each time they send or receive a message, and usually end up spending a fortune every day. The baits are mostly lonely men (often troubled) who hope to fall in love with a caring woman. Bad thing is that behind the other screen there is no "caring woman", but another man paid by the criminal organization (~30% rev share) to pull out as many messages as he can from victim. But I love your project - would love to see if there are any legit use cases :) Can see that working in consulting (or, better, micro-consulting), with a reverse billing system - users get billed based on the amount of words they receive.
