Hey Product Hunt, I'm Luca, the developer behind Fun Habit.
Fun Habit is a habit tracker built around a simple idea: something you want can give you a reason to keep going. Different habits have different rhythms, so Fun Habit lets you set up and view each one in the way that makes sense for it.
Here is what that looks like:
🎯 Wishes and coins. Add something you want as a wish and set a coin goal for it. When you have enough coins, reward yourself.
⚖️ Good habits and habits you want to reduce. Following through on a good habit earns coins. Recording a habit you want to reduce deducts the amount you set.
🗓️ Flexible schedules and extra completions. Set each habit to repeat daily, weekly, monthly, yearly, or on a custom cycle. Once a periodic goal is complete, you can keep recording and choose a separate coin value for extra completions.
🧩 A home screen that fits each habit. Configure every habit card independently to show a weekly, monthly, or yearly heatmap, goal progress, or a note with the steps you want to remember. Home-screen widgets keep your habits close by.
⏱️ Timers and session ratings. Use a count-up or countdown timer for time-based habits. When it ends, rate the session from 0 to 5 stars. That rating determines how many coins you earn.
📊 A clearer view of progress. Review your patterns over time through heatmaps and rankings.
Fun Habit is available on iOS and Android. If you try it, I'd love to know: what would you add as your first wish?
Thanks for taking a look. This is Fun Habit's first time on Product Hunt, and I'll be here throughout the launch to answer any questions.

honestly the coin system is a cute idea but it would be way more motivating if you could share your wish list with friends and they could chip in coins when you hit milestones, kind of like accountability plus a little extra push

@nilferwaxa Thanks for the idea. I can see how that extra push from friends could help. The tricky part is that everyone sets their own coin values in Fun Habit, so coins don't have the same meaning across different accounts. That would make contributions between friends hard to balance.
There is one related situation that makes a lot of sense, though. Some parents already use Fun Habit to set up habits and wishes for their children, then encourage them as they work toward the reward. I'd like to make that experience better in the future.

the coin goal idea is actually pretty motivating, like turning habits into something you can cash in makes it feel less of a chore. tried it for a few days and it stuck better than other trackers i bounced off of.

@irmak2054281 I'm glad Fun Habit feels right for you. Working toward something you really want is exactly the feeling I hoped coin goals would bring.

the coin reward idea is a nice twist, feels more satisfying than just checking a box. wish the goals had a few preset categories to start from.

@fatmasavluhstl Thanks! I'm glad you like the coin system. I've kept groups optional in Fun Habit because many users only track a few habits and prefer seeing everything together. Those with a longer list can create their own groups. Preset groups could make the first setup easier, and if I do explore them, I'd keep them optional.

love how the coin system actually connects the habit to the reward instead of just giving you a boring streak counter, feels way more motivating to see your effort pile up toward something you actually want

@glenyulu20ou Thanks! I'm glad you like the coin system. Streaks can be useful, but breaking one can make all that effort feel lost. Fun Habit does not reset earned coins when that happens, so users can keep working toward the same wish.

@n_yay71134 Thanks! I wanted Fun Habit to be a habit tracker where users could tie their progress to a wish and make the process a little more playful with coins.

The coin reward system makes sticking to a habit feel less like a chore and more like a little game. Surprised how much the wish feature actually pushed me to stay consistent.

@hamitk7s6 That makes me really happy to hear. When I built Fun Habit, I wanted it to be a habit tracker that gave users a personal reason to keep going. The wish and coin system came from that idea. Users add something they want as a wish, set a coin goal, and earn coins by completing habits.
