As a language enthusiast who spends a lot of time online, I always wanted a translation tool that was more than just a simple text converter. I needed something that could help me actually learn from the words I was translating, right on the page, without breaking my workflow. That's why I built GenAI Translator! It's a Chrome extension that uses Google's powerful Gemini AI to provide nuanced translations for any text you select. But it's more than just a translator. My favorite feature is the "Study Mode," which lets you save words and practice them with flashcards directly in the extension. It also includes: Text-to-Speech (TTS): Hear the correct pronunciation of any translated text. Privacy-First: Your API key and translation history are stored locally on your device. I don't collect any of your data. Customization: You can bring your own Google Gemini API key and adjust settings to fit your needs.
