The best webcam with Magic Touch that automatically shows you in the best exposure and colors! Easy one-time installation of computer drivers and you are ready do use iPhone cameras on Zoom, Skype, or any other computer video communicator.
Looks good and it works (on Mac). But, I find the UI weak lacks proper contrast and is hard to see. It's two white transparent bars over the video image on either side with yellow icons that indicate ON/OFF status. I'd also want some control over the image such as colour temp and saturation because I find the untreated video too saturated.
Hi Miklos,
Thank you for your review, the feedback is very helpful for us to improve the product. In the AppStore is already the GetCam 2.4.0 version that has updated MagicTouch filter with smoother temp and saturation to not make the image too saturated. Our designer is working on more visible UI. It is quite challenging since we would like to include a lot of new options at the same time.
I hope you find GetCam helpful for online calls.
I wish you all the best,
Jack & the GetCam Team.
I started using it in covid as there were lots of online meetings, I managed to grab a promo code as I was skeptical about the usability. And from the desire to test it, it stayed with me until today. btw my team started using it too, so it's great.
They keep expanding the app so I'm not complaining.

This is really an awesome product you guys have made. Just last week me and my wife both were contemplating buying a webcam, as most standard windows devices' cams are pretty average quality and they have very poor focussing and backlight adjustments. Otherwise, we've to join in parallely from our phones as well to make the video stream through phone.
This is cool.
My next ask: Any plan to give android support?
@rakesh_sehgal thank you for this comment. We have tested joining parallel from a phone and computer to have the video from the phone. This setup is not handy and causes troubles when you exist in a video call as two persons.
Yes, we have the Android version on our roadmap.

@getcam This is such a coincidence, at the same time hilarious that within few hours of posting the above comment my laptop camera stopped working :D...

@rakesh_sehgal I hope your laptop camera will be fine shortly. I am sending a one-year subscription of the GetCam iOS app just in case 37NY3JXJR9W9 . All the best, Jack
Hi Ashish. Thanks for asking. The difference is in subscription model:
- GetCam is a freemium application with an optional subscription in In-app purchase
- Spotlight Business Web Camera is a paid app that you buy once.
Functionality-wise the applications are almost the same. Magic Touch feature only exists in GetCam though.

Thanks. Would both versions be developed? Or will you focus more on the freemium version in future?
Both versions will be developed. Most of the code is the same. Spotlight Business Web Camera is also a very good option for bulk purchases for business AppStore users.

This looks really great and simple to set up. Onboarding is so important! My laptop camera is not dependable at all! Can I get a promo code?
@jenny_klein2 Hi Jenny, this is a promo code for you YEA7PK6EMRTY. Laptop cameras are usually hardware from a decade ago (literally). iPhone cameras even older model like 7, 8, etc. has much better camera equipment than the brand new laptops have.
@jenny_klein2 Thanks for trying the GetCam app. Would you be so kind to fill the feedback survey? https://forms.gle/CjCemeWpyjavA5M37
Every question is optional, so feel free to input only the data you want. Thank you 🙏

Hey @getcam !
Great product :) Is there any way to turn off my camera during call? I'm using front facing camera and I don't want to see myself all the time :D
May I receive promo code too? :)
Feature to turn off display/preview is a very good idea. I have already added it to the TOD list. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. The promo code for you PAPEENHFJM79

Does this support FaceTime on a Mac desktop? I can't find any option to select which camera input to use for FaceTime... And will it then also use the iPhone mic?
@secretagents_nl Hi Alexandro, the story with FaceTime on a Mac is that no "virtual camera" is allowed there. That means as long as macOS do not allow it GetCam will not be available in FaceTime. Sorry we cannot do anything about it. Regarding the iPhone mic this is a feature under development.
