Actually writing this with a dictation app right now - your implementation is super unique - any plans/teases of future features? I'd be personally hard-put to swap from Vowen for dictation but would be curious if you guys have long term plans to expand in any fun/unique ways.

@justin_rockmore hey justin! definitely thinking of expanding into the space of voice driven computer use, that particularly has seemed interesting to me and I really think that Gojo, if done well, can be the siri or intelligent on-device assistant that apple devices need! would love to have you try out Gojo, please feel free to reach out to me by email directly and we can discuss more about your switch from Vowen. Great Job @Gojo / @rohoswagger , good use of the camera island on the mac. given that this vertical is getting a bit crowded the fight will be over the UX, and ofc the cherry on top the "life time" license!

To answer your question about notch vs dedicated app: quick recent items and dictation feel right in the notch, but I'd still keep a full app for long-term clipboard history and snippets (I work on Paste, so fair warning on bias). Local speech models with cloud as a separate opt-in is a thoughtful default. Does the clipboard history persist across restarts?

@protsenkoalexandra yes clipboard history does persist across restarts! and yes it's fair that you think some of the features belong in a separate app, but the main goal of gojo and the main problem that i was facing was just too many apps accumulating in my menu bar, and I built gojo with the primary objective of decreasing the noise there :)
