GuideYou helps you create simple visual step-by-step guides your family can follow without calling you every time. Upload screenshots, highlight what to tap, and share guides in a family workspace. Works on any device, supports feedback when screens change, and stays signed in for easy access. Explain things once and let others follow anytime.

Congrats on the launch! I really like the initiative and can see strong potential, especially for older users.
After trying it out for a few minutes, I noticed a few usability and clarity gaps, particularly for first-time users. The lack of onboarding stood out, as it leaves some key questions unanswered early on.
Happy to share a few quick thoughts and ideas if that’s helpful :)

@gaston_ux Thank you! I'm happy to hear that. I think you're right - the onboarding experience needs a bit of polish. That will be my next priority

@gosu94 How familiar this is (when loved ones call with requests like this! A video about me)))
Good job coming up with this! Good luck

@maria_anosova Thank You!
Love this!
The Gmail sign up flow currently returns invalid access may want to check that out or leave the traditional sign up with password only.

@o_mila thank you! Hmm 75% of user's Sign Ups are via Google oath2 (including mine), it seems to be working fine. Can you try again?

When the UI of an app updates and the screenshots become outdated, does GuideYou notify the guide creator to refresh them? Super practical for families, congrats!

@mcarmonas Thanks so much for the kind words!
It would be extremely difficult to automatically track every UI change across all apps.
That’s why GuideYou is designed to rely on its users - viewers can quickly report any issue with a guide, including outdated screenshots.
Creators get notified instantly by email, so they can jump in and update things right away. There’s even a dedicated “This looks different” button on every step to make reporting super easy
I’m honestly so relieved to see a tool like GuideYou. I spent years explaining the same three steps to my parents over the phone, but having a shared family workspace for visual guides changes everything. It’s a total friction-free way to help them stay independent without me having to repeat myself every single weekend. Finally, I can just say, 'Check the guide!'

@victorjason That was exactly my point, thank you!

My parents are now my QA team" is the best product validation story I've heard today 😄 The explain once --> reusable forever insight is spot on. The real frustration isn't the first time, it's the 12th time explaining the same thing. Congrats on shipping 🚀
