@jitendra_builds Gonna try this for sure!
1st round interviews are repetitive, require time, and resources. This tool can help.
@falcon1 Many thanks for your support and curiosity!!
Consistent screening sounds good from the company side but I am curious how candidates perceive it. After years in recruitment I know the first impression of the hiring process heavily influences whether someone accepts the offer. Do you have feedback from candidates on how they react to an AI interview instead of a person?
@klara_minarikova I would also second this approach, how do candidates respond to Ai interviews given the current market trend on LinkedIn of a vast number of applicants not enjoying the process of Ai implementations in the application section prior to an interview. Congrats on the launch by the way, it is a great idea but one that may require navigating.
Thanks @minhajulll , I agree to your points and we’re constantly working on to improve candidates experience!
However, as of now, we’re trying to solve the 1st round recurring interviews. Candidates can give a quick AI interview instead of being evaluated just from their CV or resume.
@klara_minarikova , I agree to your point, how beneficial it is from the company side.
From candidates’ perception, since we’re solving only round-1 interviews for now, the AI interviews are seen just as an initial screening round. Now they don’t have the fear to get rejected just by CV screening. Instead they present themselves to the AI interviewer and answer some solid interview questions.
Initially, our AI was loosely packed, had some bugs and hallucinated. But after rigorous testing, training and feedback, we’ve come to a point where our AI does interview like a real interviewer would in conversational and async format. It also hears if candidates need to ask something in between, making candidates feel comfortable and heard.
It’s okay to evaluate a candidate just from a CV/Resume. But what if companies can do a quick interview round through interviewkit.AI? It’s much more effective as the feedback we get from companies.
Hiring fairly but quickly is a tough nut to crack, I'm glad that there are some new approaches. My previous startup was all about fair hiring so I really resonate with this problem and your solution. Biggest issue I've seen is how bias can creep in based on the underlying LLM, even if your system prompt says "don't be biased" haha. What are you doing to mitigate that?
@devin_owen First of all thanks for putting out your concern!
For fair evaluation, our LLM analyses each and every candidate answers very precisely and generates score for each candidate answer. It judges a candidate on the metrics like, domain knowledge, communication clarity, confidence level, etc.
Thus, we’re trying to keep no room for biasness here.
The idea makes sense, especially for companies dealing with high application volume. Level-1 screening is usually repetitive anyway. Curious how candidates react to being interviewed by AI though, does it affect completion rates or candidate experience?
Congratulations. Good luck & have fun
