FYI we had an issue reaching our daily email limit on SendGrid due to an unexpected amount of signups and confirmation emails were not sent out. But the issue is fixed now and signups work again!
@lukaswardega we are currently designing it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) so you can already use it exactly like a real app. This allows a much faster dev cycle and better user experience. But over the long run we will for sure offer it via AppStore and PlayStore as well.
@toniengelhardt Cool!
As a fresh user, who would like to use it on daily basis, I'd love to have a quick access to it, for example to write down a dream shortly after waking up. Currently, the only way is through running it via browser. Looking for more! :)
@lukaswardega no no you can install it on your phone, if you have Android just open the website with Chrome and then click on the menu (3 dost) and 'add to home screen' or if you have an iPhone, open it with Safari and click on the share button and there 'add to home screen'. Since it is a Progressive Web App (PWA) your phone will download the app and add it to your home screen. When you click on the icon it will open the app natively like a real app and not in the browser. You'll notice no difference, promise ;)
@anna_0x yes! It is in the making, also interpretations for dreams and a marker to label them as recurring. Atm we focus on bug fixing but all of this will be coming soon!
I can't signup, the "Create journal" does not seem to work.

@ronmasas Hey Ron, have you filled all the fields and checked the 'I accept the terms and privacy policy' box? If the button is gray and not black you are missing some input.
@locomunkey yes! Journalistic is a Progressive Web App (PWA), meaning you can 'install' it just like a native app on Chrome, Android and iOS. If you open it in Chrome on desktop there is a small install button on the right side of the search bar; on mobile click on the menu button (3 dots) on Android (Chrome or Firefox) or the 'share' button on iOS (Safari) and then 'add to home screen' to install the app. Once all bugs are fixed we will also submit it to the PlayStore for easier installation. Hopefully Apple will come up with better support for PWAs in the near future, otherwise we'll consider releasing native apps as well.
@ivo_valchev there is no native app yet, but you can install the Progressive Web App (PWA) from the browser via 'menu' (Android) or 'share' (iOS) and 'add to home screen'. Once all the bugs are fixed we'll deploy a TWA version to the Google PlayStore and a native iOS to the AppStore a bit later.

@toniengelhardt Right, I see. Thanks for letting me know - would be great to get an email once the iOS app is available in the AppStore. So far the app looks great, very clean design :)
@sallen1026 Hi Steve, thanks for getting in touch! The journal entries are synced between all your devices. However, before version 2.2 the app required a page refresh to sync. With the latest update the app now syncs automatically in the background every 30 seconds, which also makes the initial page load faster. At some point we'll probably upgrade to real-time sync via websockets and full offline support. Have a great day!
