Hello Community, I have been developing Kafka for a few years as an open-source project. I used archive.org a lot for audio and text documents, but I wasn't content with the user experience on the website, and it lacked a mobile presence. The app has an in-built audio player to browse and listen to playlists seamlessly, a PDF and text reader with features like bookmarks and continue-reading, and a download manager to let you save files to your device and share freely. This is an open-source project with goals aligned with those of archive.org. Archive.org hosts 14.7 million audio recordings and 41 million texts, all available in the public domain. Kafka works on Android phones and tablets, so you can take your books and audio wherever you go. We are also contributing AI-generated audio content as Kafka Originals to the public domain.
