That means latency, ongoing costs, and most importantly, giving up control over your data. As a developer working heavily with .NET and desktop applications, I wanted something different: 👉 an AI assistant that runs completely **on-device** 👉 works **offline** 👉 and gives full control over performance and privacy That’s how KaiROS-AI started. It’s a local AI assistant for **Windows & Mobile**, powered by local LLMs (llama.cpp / LLamaSharp), designed to use your own hardware (CPU/GPU) instead of external APIs. 💡 The goal is simple: Make AI truly personal, private, and always available — without relying on the cloud.
