We built Klash after watching endless Twitter debates in crypto communities where everyone had strong opinions but zero accountability.
The problem: When controversies hit—hacks, rug pulls, project drama—everyone claims they "knew all along." But talk is cheap. There's no way to separate real conviction from noise.
We wanted to create a platform where your opinion has real weight because you're backing it with your money.
How it evolved:
Initially, we thought about building a general prediction market. But we realized the magic happens in real-time, high-emotion controversies. That's where people are most confident—and most wrong.
So we pivoted to focus on Twitter/crypto drama specifically. When Move Club got hacked, when projects face accusations, when influencers make bold claims—that's when Klash comes alive.
We integrated Aptos blockchain for transparency and built on Move for security (ironic, given we're betting on Move Club drama 😅).
The MVP was built in a sprint with NestJS + MongoDB backend, smart contracts deployed on Aptos testnet, and a Twitter API integration to detect controversies in real-time.
What we learned: The best product validation isn't surveys—it's getting people to put money on their beliefs. If they won't bet on it, they don't really believe it.
That's Klash. Put your money where your mouth is. 💸

Thank god, you are safe from that knife! What prompted you to do that :)
Great launch, by the way!
